The pastor is the spiritual leader of the church. He is primarily responsible to the Lord and to the church to proclaim the gospel and to teach the bible. In addition, he is to engage in pastoral care and will have some administrative responsibilities related to the operation of the church.
The pastor is an employee of Arborg Christian Fellowship Church and reports the Elders.
The pastor in conjunction with the Elders will develop an annual set of objectives that will be reviewed quarterly.
General Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver sermons
- Lead Sunday services
- Lead ACF in an effective evangelism program and a caring ministry for those in the church and the community.
- Conduct weddings and funerals
- Maintain records (attendance, minutes, etc)
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant degree/diploma
- Passion for community involvement/relationship
