Arborg Christian Fellowship Church (ACF) is a non-denominational,cogregatioanally led church located in Arborg, Manitoba, Canada. ACF is seeking a pastor/ pastoral couple who is outreach focused, and solidly and strongly bible based to serve as a ministry partner as we shine God’s light and love in our community.
Arborg is a rural community of approximately 1,200 people one-hour north of Winnipeg, Manitoba. ACF has a long history of community partnership and outreach. Our purpose is to serve God and bring glory to Him, by equipping believers and evangelizing the lost. We are here to be a lighthouse in our community. We exist to present Jesus Christ. God called us to this work.
ACF is seeking a pastor who is:
- Born again, loves the Lord and has a passion for sharing Christ’s love with others.
- Has solid bible training. Prior pastoral experience will be considered an asset.
- Someone who lives a life that is a good example of Christian living, has a true love of God and shows it.
- Someone who understands and enjoys life in rural Canada and small communities.
- Someone who lives a life where prayer and bible reading are a fundamental part of life.
- Someone who is a relational and high energy person
- Someone who is real and down to earth and relates well to all ages, who is accessible to all.
- Someone who is a good teacher / preacher.
Our goals are for the pastor to be a leader who has ideas and goals and is willing to express them and work to achieve them. He will have the capacity to advise the elders, and to provide leadership implementing the goals of ACF. The successful candidate should be an enabler and encourager – capable of motivating and encouraging others and will not try to do it all by himself. He will be a shepherd, someone who is a witness to the community who also takes care of the people of the church. Someone who visits and makes himself available, takes the time for people, and is able to relate to the various age and socio-economic groups.
